Kamilla was stripped naked, handcuffed, and her ankles were shackled. Her thumbs and big toes were cuffed with special handcuffs (toecuffs) and chained to the radiator pipe. They decided to tease the girl a little, so they threw the keys to the handcuffs nearby. With great difficulty, reaching with her feet, Kamilla managed to pull the keys toward her. She took them in her hands and tried to open the handcuffs, but she couldn’t do it. After a long struggle, the girl got tired, and the handcuffs still wouldn’t budge. Accidentally, she twisted the keys sharply in the keyhole, and they flew far away, out of her reach. In despair, Camilla threw away the second set of keys and remained sitting, chained and resigned to her fate.
